The TR70 wood chipper is mounted on the tractor's three-point linkage. Wood chipper operation is ensured by a cardan shaft with overload clutch (torque set for 1600 Nm). The overload clutch prevents the tractor and wood chipper from being overloaded if branches that are too large are pulled in. The wood chipper blades are set in motion as soon as the branches are inserted. After chipping, the wood chips are placed in net bags which are attached to a filling device. The surface is powder coated. The TR70 wood chipper is protected as industrial type no. 34840.
We offer two versions of the device:
the double device for net bags, the device for big bags
All wood chippers manufactured by us are supplied with the (double) device for net bags. When ordering, you have the option of choosing between the device for big bags and the other device types in order to change them as required. The conversion only takes a few minutes. . The TR70 wood chipper has a double device for net bags, between which you can handle the filling very easily. The double device saves you valuable time. You do not need to interrupt your work process after filling the first bag - just move the valve and the wood chips will flow into the second empty bag. While the second bag is being filled, you can easily reach the first bag, which is already full, to prepare a new empty bag. A bag can be filled within 30 seconds. We supply net bags measuring 57 x 104 cm with the wood chipper. When you purchase our wood chipper, you will receive 50 net bags free of charge.
The funnel:
The hopper consists of a stable and foldable part. Thanks to the folding part of the hopper, the wood chipper takes up less space in the transport position - it does not protrude beyond the tractor profile, which is very important for safe driving under the trees in the forest. In the working position, the hopper is extended by unloading the folding part. The extended hopper ensures better processing of the branches and serves the safety of the operator. The horizontal hopper also makes it easier to pull in long branches compared to a vertical or inclined

The knives, which are made of high-quality tool steel, are attached to each cutting edge with two screws. The chopping blades are easy to fit and can be sharpened repeatedly. The distance between the blades is max. 0.3 mm. It is possible to grind up to 4 mm on the knife. Depending on the condition of the wood, 1000 or more net bags of wood chips are processed after each grinding. The knives also shred thick branches with a high proportion of green matter.
