The enormous splitting force of 30 tons is generated by an electric motor (400V, 5.5 kW) or by a tractor (PTO drive, not included). This makes the splitter universally applicable.
A phase inverter is integrated into the power cable connection socket.
The attached log lifter is very practical, making it easy to upright heavy logs. If the log lifter is not needed, it can simply be locked in the upper position and serves as a second protective bar.
Using a simple spring mechanism, the device can be operated in two different modes:
The splitting wedge automatically returns to the preset position after releasing the control lever (this position can be continuously adjusted using a lever). This allows for very fast and effective work, as the wedge does not need to be raised manually. The spring must be disengaged for this mode of operation.
The splitting wedge remains in any position after releasing the control lever and only returns when the control lever is pushed up. The spring must be engaged for this function.
The log splitter stands on two wheels and also has a transport wheel. Thanks to this transport wheel, the log splitter can also be transported by hand. However, it is recommended to have a second person assist. Alternatively, it can of course be attached to the 3-point hitch of a tractor. The cylinder can be easily lowered to a height of 1.99 meters.

At the slow speed, you can expect the time to double. A splitting cross is included with the log splitter. However, this splitting cross may not be used when using the log splitter within the European Union, as the new EU standard EN 609:2017 for log splitters generally prohibits the use of multiple splitting wedges and splitting crosses. The possible use of the splitting cross is at your own risk and responsibility. The devices are very stable and have enormous power. You won't find a log that this splitter can't chop up.
