New Medium-sized mulcher for small and compact tractors from 20 hp Thanks to their compact design, the mulchers in the Agrifarm ML series are ideal for small and compact tractors for mulching grass, scrub, and woody vegetation in meadows, pastures, paddocks, and forest edges.
They are mounted on the rear three-point hitch (cat. 1) of the tractor with a PTO speed of 540 rpm. The mulcher's gearbox runs in an oil bath and has an integrated freewheel. The mulchers are equipped with 400-gram hammer flails, which are distributed in a staggered pattern on the flail shaft.
The straight cutting edge of the flails ensures a clean cut of the meadow. Furthermore, smaller branches can also be mulched without any problems. An integrated counter blade in the mulcher housing shreds the mulched material and ejects it over the rear.
A height-adjustable trailing roller at the rear of the mulcher and height-adjustable skids regulate the cutting height. A scraper ensures that the trailing roller is constantly cleaned. The flail shaft and trailing roller run in lubricated bearings that are easily accessible from the outside.
At the front of the mulcher, pendulum flaps ensure that no objects such as stones or mulched material can escape from the mulching housing. Power is transmitted from the gearbox to the flail shaft by a 3- or 4-fold V-belt drive, depending on the working width.
The tension of the V-belts is very easy to adjust using easily accessible tensioning screws. The mulching housing is made of 5 mm thick steel, and the 3-point suspension is 10-12
