Two-thirds of the vineyard in the prime Kremsleithen location was replanted, involving the following work: Clearing and pruning of adjacent trees Building access roads and connecting them to the existing terraces 80 metric tons of new stones transported up to the highest terraces Repairing and rebuilding stone walls Applying compost Tilling the entire area with an excavator Installing an irrigation system Paved footpaths Special Riesling selections and rootstocks planted High-quality support materials Hail protection/wildlife protection installed The vineyard is now accessible by tractor and a towed sprayer all the way to the top terrace.
