Accessibility statement

We strive to make our website accessible in accordance with the Accessibility Act (BaFG) as amended to implement the European Accessibility Directive (RL 2019/882) on the accessibility requirements for products and services. In doing so, we have complied with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 as far as possible.

  • Text contrast: Not all texts can be displayed with a contrast ratio of 4.5:1.
  • Links: Links that consist solely of an image cannot currently be recognised correctly by screen readers. Semantic links are not always formatted as a list.
  • Videos: Older videos do not have the option of displaying subtitles, and many videos also do not have the option of displaying audio descriptions.
  • Form fields: In some cases, form fields do not have the appropriate markup for screen readers.
  • Some content and functions – including content in simple language and scopes for table headings – are not yet barrier-free accessible.
  • The listed incompatibilities with accessibility regulations are being corrected on an ongoing basis.
• This content does not fall within the scope of the applicable legal provisions:
  • Older content: Older videos and content that are not barrier-fee are available on the website. As these were published before 28 June 2025, they are exempt from the Accessibility Act. We are endeavouring to update them gradually.
  • Third-party content: Our websites contain content from third-party providers that we have not developed, financed or controlled.
