John Deere hat das Silicon Valley-Startup Unternehmen Bear Flag Robotics f\u00fcr 250 Mio. US-$ \u00fcbernommen und steigt damit noch st\u00e4rker in die Bereiche Automatisierung und Autonomisierung ein. Bear Flag entwickelt Technologien f\u00fcr das autonome Fahren, die mit den bestehenden John Deere Maschinen kompatibel sind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Das Startup BearFlagRobotics.com<\/a> existiert seit 2017 und besch\u00e4ftigt landwirtschaftliche Fachleute, Ingenieure und Techniker, die sich auf die Entwicklung von autonomen L\u00f6sungen, Sensortechnik, Datenverarbeitung sowie Soft- & Hardware konzentrieren. Seit 2019 gibt es mit John Deere bereits eine Zusammenarbeit, die im Rahmen eines Startup Kollaborations-Programms entstanden ist. Diese Initiative verbessert die Kooperation mit Startups, deren Technologien f\u00fcr John Deere Kunden einen Mehrwert darstellen k\u00f6nnten. Eine ausgew\u00e4hlte Anzahl von autonomen L\u00f6sungen wird bereits auf Farmen in den USA eingesetzt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bear Flag wird im Silicon Valley verbleiben und von dort aus eng mit John Deere zusammenarbeiten. John Deere verf\u00fcgt ebenfalls \u00fcber Autonomie-Kompetenz und ferner \u00fcber ein fl\u00e4chendeckendes Vertriebsnetz, \u00fcber das die Technologiel\u00f6sungen angeboten werden k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

F\u00fcr John Deere ist Autonomes Fahren eine Schl\u00fcsseltechnologie, die Landwirten hilft Ressourcen zu schonen und langfristig nachhaltiger und produktiver zu wirtschaften. Bear Flag verfolgt mit der Automatisierung der Maschinen das Ziel, die weltweite Nahrungsmittelproduktion zu steigern und die Kosten f\u00fcr den Anbau von Nahrungsmitteln zu senken.
