Das zeigen die j\u00fcngsten Zahlen der <strong>RollAMA<\/strong> Markterhebung, die am Donnerstag in einer gemeinsamen Online-Pressekonferenz von <strong>BIO AUSTRIA und AMA Marketing GmbH<\/strong> anl\u00e4sslich der <strong>Weltleitmesse BIOFACH<\/strong> pr\u00e4sentiert wurden. Demnach wurden alleine im Lebensmittel-einzelhandel 2020 Bio-Lebensmittel im Wert von \u00fcber 713 Millionen Euro gekauft. Das entspricht einer Steigerung von 23 Prozent gegen\u00fcber dem Jahr 2019. Mengenm\u00e4\u00dfig stieg der Umsatz um 17 Prozent. Damit betragen die Bio-Ums\u00e4tze zehn Prozent der gesamten Lebensmitteleinkaufe im Lebensmitteleinzelhandel. In den letzten Jahren sind Umweltaspekte, insbesondere das Thema Klimakrise, verst\u00e4rkt ins Bewusstsein der Menschen ger\u00fcckt. Auch die Problematik des starken R\u00fcckgangs der Biodiversit\u00e4t ist in der Gesellschaft angekommen. All das sind auch Treiber der Nachfrage nach Bio. Immer mehr KonsumentInnen wissen ganz einfach, dass \u00f6kologische Nachhaltigkeit eine Kernkompetenz der biologischen Landwirtschaft ist. Und in der Corona-Krise hat sich der Wunsch nach umweltschonend hergestellten, gesunden Bio-Lebensmitteln noch einmal deutlich verst\u00e4rkt\u201c, erl\u00e4uterte die Obfrau des Bioverbandes BIO AUSTRIA, Gertraud Grabmann, die neuesten Ergebnisse.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>KonsumentInnen sichern \u00d6sterreich weltweite Bio-Bestwerte<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Die \u00d6sterreicherInnen seien bei Umweltthemen besonders sensibel und durch bewusste Kaufentscheidungen seit langem unverzichtbare und verl\u00e4ssliche Partner der biologischen Landwirtschaft. Aktuell werde dies durch eindrucksvolle internationale Rankings best\u00e4tigt: So liegt \u00d6sterreich weltweit beim Bio-Anteil am Lebensmittelmarkt an <strong>dritter<\/strong> und beim pro Kopf Verbrauch von Bio-Lebensmitteln an <strong>vierten Stelle<\/strong>\u00b9.<br><br>Auch produktionsseitig steht \u00d6sterreich im weltweiten Vergleich auf dem Sieger-Treppchen: mit einem Bio-Anteil von \u00fcber 26 Prozent (das sind 677.216 Hektar) an der gesamten landwirtschaftlichen Fl\u00e4che belegt es den<strong> zweiten Platz<\/strong> hinter Liechtenstein (41 Prozent)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile is-vertically-aligned-top\" style=\"grid-template-columns:61% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1030\" height=\"727\" src=\"https:\/\/www.landwirt.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Screenshot-2021-02-18-134527-1030x727.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5421 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.landwirt.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Screenshot-2021-02-18-134527-1030x727.jpg 1030w, https:\/\/www.landwirt.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Screenshot-2021-02-18-134527-300x212.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.landwirt.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Screenshot-2021-02-18-134527-768x542.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.landwirt.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Screenshot-2021-02-18-134527-260x185.jpg 260w, https:\/\/www.landwirt.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Screenshot-2021-02-18-134527-705x498.jpg 705w, https:\/\/www.landwirt.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Screenshot-2021-02-18-134527.jpg 1230w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1030px) 100vw, 1030px\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>3700 neue Bio-Betriebe und 23 Prozent mehr Bio-Fl\u00e4che seit 2015<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Insgesamt wirtschaften laut aktuellen Zahlen des Bundesministeriums f\u00fcr Landwirtschaft, Regionen und Tourismus (<strong>BMLRT<\/strong>) derzeit in \u00d6sterreich 24.457 H\u00f6fe nach den Kriterien der Bio-Landwirtschaft, das sind knapp 23 Prozent aller landwirtschaftlichen Betriebe. Seit 2015 ist die biologisch bewirtschaftete Fl\u00e4che in \u00d6sterreich um 23 Prozent gewachsen. Im selben Zeitraum sind 3.700 neue Bio-Betriebe dazugekommen, was einem Zuwachs von 18 Prozent entspricht.<br><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Im Unterschied zu vielen anderen europ\u00e4ischen L\u00e4ndern gab es in \u00d6sterreich von 2019 auf 2020 allerdings nur geringe Zuw\u00e4chse in Bezug auf Bio-Fl\u00e4che und Bio-Betriebe. Dies liegt daran, dass seit Ende 2018 keine Neueinstiege mehr in die Bio-F\u00f6rderung und seit Ende 2019 auch keine Umstiege aus anderen F\u00f6rder-Ma\u00dfnahmen mehr m\u00f6glich sind. Ein Einstieg in die Bio-F\u00f6rderung ist erst wieder mit der neuen Periode der <strong>Gemeinsamen Europ\u00e4ischen Agrarpolitik<\/strong> im Jahr 2023 m\u00f6glich. Das bedeutet in der Praxis, dass die Zahl der Betriebe und die Fl\u00e4che stagnieren wird. Grabmann geht diesbez\u00fcglich im internationalen Wettbewerb von einem gewissen Wertsch\u00f6pfungsverlust f\u00fcr \u00d6sterreich aus. Denn die Nachfrage nach Bio-Lebensmitteln werde weiterhin steigen, die Produktion in \u00d6sterreich hingegen werde sich nicht entsprechend mitentwickeln k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Salzburg: 50 Prozent Bio-Anteil bei H\u00f6fen und 59 Prozent Bio-Fl\u00e4chen<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Den ho\u0308chsten Anteil an Biobetrieben in \u00d6sterreich weist Salzburg mit 50 Prozent auf, gefolgt von Wien mit 30 Prozent und dem Burgenland mit 27 Prozent. Auch bei der Fl\u00e4che hat Salzburg mit 59 Prozent die Nase vorne, gefolgt vom Burgenland mit 37 Prozent und Wien mit 35 Prozent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Im Bereich der Kulturen gibt es den gr\u00f6\u00dften Bio-Anteil bei den Obst-Anlagen mit knapp 37 Prozent, gefolgt vom Dauergr\u00fcnland mit 33 Prozent, den Ackerfl\u00e4chen mit knapp 21 Prozent, sowie den Weing\u00e4rten mit 16 Prozent. Die Entwicklung seit dem Jahr 2015 weist ein Plus von 73 Prozent im Bereich der Obstanlagen auf. Diese Bio-Fl\u00e4chen haben damit am st\u00e4rksten zugelegt.
