Bio-Verband fordert \u00c4nderungen bei Pl\u00e4nen zur nationalen Umsetzung der Gemeinsamen Agrarpolitik<\/strong> (GAP);
St\u00e4rkung der Bio-Landwirtschaft Teil des Europ\u00e4ischen „Green Deal“.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

„Die Bio-Landwirtschaft<\/strong> und mit ihr die Biob\u00e4uerinnen und Biobauern erbringen systemische Mehrleistungen in den Bereichen Umweltschutz, Klimaschutz, Biodiversit\u00e4t und Tierwohl<\/strong>, die im gegenw\u00e4rtigen Entwurf zur Umsetzung der GAP in \u00d6sterreich nicht ber\u00fccksichtig werden. Hier braucht es noch substanzielle \u00c4nderungen, damit die Bio-Landwirtschaft in \u00d6sterreich zukunftsf\u00e4hig bleibt und weiterhin f\u00fcr B\u00e4uerinnen und Bauern eine Perspektive darstellt“, betonte BIO AUSTRIA Obfrau und Biob\u00e4uerin Gertraud Grabmann am Montag, den 8.2.2021, anl\u00e4sslich des Er\u00f6ffnungstags der zweiten Tiroler Biobauerntage<\/strong> des Landesverbands BIO AUSTRIA Tirol, welche heuer als Online-Veranstaltung abgehalten werden. Im Mittelpunkt der diesj\u00e4hrigen Tiroler Bauerntage steht die Bedeutung der Bio-Landwirtschaft im Zusammenhang mit Herausforderungen wie der Klima- und Biodiversit\u00e4tskrise, sowie deren Rolle in der neuen Gemeinsamen Agrarpolitik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reduktion von Bio auf Management-Zuschlag agrarpolitischer R\u00fcckschritt<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Konkret kritisierte Grabmann, dass der derzeitige Planungstand des BMLRT<\/strong> spezifisch f\u00fcr die biologische Wirtschaftsweise k\u00fcnftig nur mehr einen „Managementzuschlag“ in der Ma\u00dfnahme „Umweltgerechte und biodiversit\u00e4tsf\u00f6rdernde Bewirtschaftung (UBB)<\/strong>“ im Rahmen des \u00d6PUL<\/strong> (\u00d6sterreichisches Programm f\u00fcr umweltgerechte Landwirtschaft) vorsieht. Die Reduktion auf einen Management-Zuschlag w\u00fcrde einen agrarpolitischen R\u00fcckschritt bedeuten.
„In Zeiten des vermehrten Sichtbarwerdens der Konsequenzen des Klimawandels sowie dramatischer Biodiversit\u00e4ts-R\u00fcckg\u00e4nge w\u00e4re es geradezu skurril, wenn gerade die nachweislich umwelt- und klimafreundliche, biodiversit\u00e4tsf\u00f6rdernde biologische Wirtschaftsweise benachteiligt w\u00fcrde. Abgesehen davon geht es hier um Fairness gegen\u00fcber den Biob\u00e4uerinnen und Biobauern.“<\/p>\n\n\n\n

St\u00e4rkung der Bio-Landwirtschaft Teil des Europ\u00e4ischen „Green Deal“<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Zudem habe die EU-Kommission erst vergangenes Jahr das Ziel von 25 Prozent Bio-Landwirtschaft in der EU erhoben, als zentrale Ma\u00dfnahmen im Rahmen der Strategien zu Biodiversit\u00e4t und Lebensmittelwirtschaft zur Umsetzung des „Green Deal“<\/strong>. „Das bedeutet nicht, dass sich \u00d6sterreich als europ\u00e4isches Bio-Vorbild zur\u00fccklehnen kann – im Gegenteil: Vorbilder tragen Verantwortung. Wenn sich alle in die H\u00e4ngematte legen, die schon etwas in Punkto \u00d6kologie geleistet haben, werden wir die Ziele des Green Deal nicht erreichen“, so Grabmann.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Markt versagt bei Abgeltung von Umwelt-Leistungen – Politik in Verantwortung<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Die BIO AUSTRIA Obfrau hob in der anschlie\u00dfenden Online-Podiumsdiskussion, unter anderem mit dem Tiroler Landeshauptmann-Stellvertreter und Agrarlandesrat Josef Geisler, zudem den Aspekt der politischen Verantwortung in der Marktentwicklung hervor. „Es ist kein Geheimnis, dass der Markt auf dem Gebiet der Einpreisung von b\u00e4uerlichen Leistungen in den Bereichen Umwelt, Biodiversit\u00e4t, Tierwohl und Klima f\u00fcr die Gesellschaft bei Lebensmitteln versagt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Was die Bauern br\u00e4uchten, um diese Leistungen zu finanzieren, k\u00f6nnen sie nicht in vollem Umfang \u00fcber die Erl\u00f6se ihrer Lebensmittel erwirtschaften. Die Politik kann sich daher hier nat\u00fcrlich auch im Bio-Bereich nicht heraushalten und die Bauern dem Markt \u00fcberlassen – wissend, dass das nicht funktioniert“, betonte Grabmann abschlie\u00dfend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
