(Wien, 25.09.2024) Am Wochenende fand die 35. Forst-Weltmeisterschaft in Wien auf der Donauinsel statt und stellte alle bisherigen Top-Erfolge in den Schatten. Im Wettkampf gegen 21 andere Nationen k\u00fcrte sich das \u201eLand der W\u00e4lder\u201c zum absoluten Champion dieser WM. \u00d6sterreich holte 25 Medaillen, davon 12 in Gold, 8 in Silber und 5 in Bronze und geh\u00f6rt damit einmal mehr zu den besten Forstarbeiter-Nationen der Welt. Noch viel beeindruckender: 32 der 75 Medaillen gingen an Sportler:innen mit STIHL Motors\u00e4gen. Auch der STIHL Markenshop war ein echtes Highlight, welches sich viele Besucher:innen nicht entgehen lie\u00dfen.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forst-Weltmeister mit STI(H)L<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

103 Teilnehmer:innen k\u00e4mpften in den f\u00fcnf Bewerben Zielf\u00e4llung, Entasten, Kettenwechsel, Kombinierter Schnitt und Pr\u00e4zisionsschnitt um die Weltmeister-Titel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rund die H\u00e4lfte davon traten mit einer STIHL MS 500i mit elektronischer Kraftstoffeinspritzung an. Neuer Weltmeister wurde Johannes Meisenbichler aus \u00d6sterreich, der genauso wie sein zweitplatzierter Landsmann und Titelverteidiger Mathias Morgenstern mit einer STIHL MS 500i antrat. Dabei stellte Meisenbichler zudem einen neuen Weltrekord im Pr\u00e4zessionsschnitt auf. Eine Weltbestzeit konnte auch der Gesamtvierte Marco Traber aus Deutschland mit seiner MS 500i erzielen: Mit einer Zeit von nur 13,37 Sekunden erreichte er 468 Punkte beim Entasten und gewann den Titel in dieser Disziplin. Auch Thomas Schneider konnte einen neuen Weltrekord f\u00fcr sich verbuchen. Der STIHL Fahrer holte den Sieg in der Einzeldisziplin Kettenwechsel in der neuen Bestzeit von 8,32 Sekunden. Insgesamt waren die mit STIHL Motors\u00e4gen ausgestattet Wettk\u00e4mpfer sehr erfolgreich und konnten 32 der 75 zu vergebenden Medaillen gewinnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bei diesen der traditionellen Holzernte im Forst nachempfundenen Wettbewerben steht die Virtuosit\u00e4t im Umgang mit der Motors\u00e4ge im Mittelpunkt. Bewertet werden Sicherheit, Pr\u00e4zision und Geschwindigkeit, wobei auch in diesem Jahr meist nur wenige Sekunden und Millimeter \u00fcber Sieg oder Niederlage entschieden haben. Forstarbeit, Spitzenleistungen und Pr\u00e4zision stehen auch bei STIHL im Fokus. Als Experte f\u00fcr die Arbeit in der Natur entwickelt STIHL seit 1926 unter anderem Akku-, Motor,- und Kettens\u00e4gen sowie Forstwerkzeuge f\u00fcr Profis. „Als offizieller Kooperationspartner der Forst-Weltmeisterschaft 2024 gratulieren wir ganz herzlich allen Gewinnerinnen und Gewinnern.
