CP 42 - Mounted 75 cm Mechanic

This machine is a 4-row mounted mechanic cup planter. The wheel axle can be set on wide and narrow wheel distances (depending if a ridging system is installed). Top-links are included for correct machine height setting.


The planting elements are mechanically driven by the wheel pairs. The upward section of the planting element is positioned at an angle of 8 degrees. This ensures an excellent pick-up and singulation of the potatoes, even in hilly terrain. The downward parabolic planting tube at an angle of 20 degrees in combination with the small bottom roller ensures Precision-Planting at its best. The bottom of the planting element is equipped with a moving, trapezoid-shaped floor which prevents the formation of bridges of the potatoes. Each cup is continuously cleaned thanks to the integrated cleaning brushes in the planting element. 29 sprocket combinations are available to set the planting distance.

Mechanical agitator per row (The agitator is driven by the top roller of the planting element. The position of the agitator is mechanically adjustable on the side of each planting element.)
Row-Stop (1-2-3-4) controlled manually (Each row can be switched off manually. Turn lever to switch off the drive.)
Furrow openers 4 rows (Furrow opener with shear bolt-chisel. Including depth control wheel left and right, adjustable in height with pin-hole.)
Single depth control wheel left (low opener) (Adjustable in height with pin-hole.)
Single depth control wheel right (low opener) (Adjustable in height with pin-hole.)
Notched covering discs with scrapers (Large notched covering discs (41cm) with scrapers. Bearings are positioned on the outside. Discs are spring-loaded and adjustable with 1 pin.)
Ridging:
Ridging hood 4×75 cm (Controlled via tractor hydraulics.)
Top width ridging hood 23 cm
Control unit:
Control monitor Precimat (Optical misses check and alarm. Displays worked surface parcel, worked surface season, drive speed, surface capacity, and driven distance.)
